We’ve got a dream-come-true lineup this month. All our sweet-talking of these lads has finally paid off, and all in the same weekend!

GROVESNOR (live)
Former Hot Chip drummer Rob Smoughton’s unashamedly fun lo-fi electro is a mashup of c-1970s Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, and 60s psychedlics ala Silver Apples, and has been aptly described as “sex on legs”. Expect no less from his live set – Rob’s been known to appear onstage in a cloak and a fright mask, and as Bearded magazine put it, he “makes Barry White sound like the Teletubbies and drives the ladies wild.” http://www.myspace.com/grovesnormusic

ED SEED from THE MULES (live)
Having spent eons holed up in a filthy east end studio working on the followup to The Mules’ acclaimed debut album “Save Your Face”, frontman and drummer Ed Seed will rock up to our gaff with his guitar for a special solo set. Don’t be fooled by the stripped-down lineup though; expect an alternate—reality take on The Mules’ frenetic cowboy cabaret-punk with serious chops. Ed promises, “This isn’t singer-songwriter shit, I have no feelings.”

MIC-MAN GR SOUNDSYSTEM (GRECO ROMAN dj set)
Grand purveyors of the sporadic, chaotic and anarchic parties, so underground you hear about them only after they’ve happened (but you still tell your friends you were there) step up to the Round Our Gaff decks for a set of mad electicism – Hot Chip vs Ross Allen, Grovesnor vs David E Sugar, Raf Daddy vs Alex Uber Alles, Dom vs Jez, London vs Berlin, Rock n Roll vs Acid House. http://www.myspace.com/grecoromanmusic

As always, your hostesses Ladies of the Manor will be on hand to glam up the decks with a delectable mix of rocking, sleazy and noisy Electro, Punk and Indie schmindie. Be there!!
