Unfortunately Mississippi Witch had to take a raincheck due to a mysterious injury, but the truly ace Olympians are stepping in.  Olympians were formed from the charred remnants of The Bridge Gang and they bristle with punk energy and charged pop hooks. According to Kitten Painting, “They ratchet out a sharp short set of scritchy voiced, knock-knee-ed raw garage scrapings.”

Last month’s RoG was another closeout, with the place bursting to capacity before 10pm.  Dead Kids and Tits of Death both delivered apocalyptic sets, followed by a post-punk electro DJ set from Friendly Fires.
ROUND OUR GAFF #4 is on Saturday March 15th.  Come worship at Camden’s punk rock altar with:
THE NUNShttp://www.myspace.com/itsnuntime
This habit-clad maelstrom has to be seen to believed. Banjo Debbie Nun, Bongo Debbie Nun, Granny Andrea O’ Saintly Bells, Sister Lolo Of The Five Wounds, Kate Kannibal (but only of the saved), and Delia Divinity are an all-lady tribute to seminal 60s garage rock mentalists The Monks.  We saw them at The Horrors’ Cave Club recently and were instantly converted.
MISSISSIPPI WITCHhttp://www.myspace.com/mississippiwitch
Sez Q mag of Bristol’s founders of the infamous drug wave gypsy guitar solo: “Swamp rocking duo Mississippi Witch inhabit a world where black-hearted men, gap-toothed women, liquor, guns and old time religion collide with combustable results.”
The live action will be followed by a very special yet-to-be-revealed guest on the decks till late.
